day 4
i got to go to preschool with Norah. what a treasure she is! she thanked me for coming and then said that she wished she could go every day (she only goes MWF) and that I could go with her. got to meet her classmates and their parents, as well. love her class diversity - South Asian, Asian, Somalian, Hispanic. and we learned about play as work and how we can use things we have around the house to let them play and engage their minds and imaginations.
then went out to lunch with mom and Norah at the local Arby's. ummm...what a cultural experience. all kinds of people. mostly working class and older folk. fascinating.
then i went to work...put out a couple of fires, got ready for Deans' Council meeting tomorrow, and finally made connection with a t-shirt company. still hopeful for that idea to come to reality. fingers.crossed.
today we read about what advent is, lit the hope candle. and i played Third Day's 'My Hope is You.'
cleaned up after dinner, but Jack to bed.
i drank more water today. i did not exercise.
but another day where i feel head above water. in a good way. may God have mercy.
